Dear Deborah,

Your writing is so beautifully descriptive. I feel I have, not only a sense of the girls and their environment, but also the audio and visual as well…I hear the birds, see the shinning cheeks and bright eyes filled with expectations, and chuckle at the thought of the standard issue shoe polish and brush – necessary, no doubt, for the by-product of that luscious red earth. What an amazing experience…please continue!
