Harmony
With President Mandela 2006
This soulful song* reminds me of my travel to South Africa in 2006. I learned so much about struggle, fortitude, and celebration from Archbishop Tutu and President Nelson Mandela. This song also reminds me of sitting in range of conch shells being blown by warriors on Hawaiian ocean shores. It reminds me of circles of women swaying side-to-side humming songs of the elders. The raw essence of spirit is why many people in this country refute and refuse to welcome indigenous thought, sounds, writings, films, neighbors, and leaders.
But words will rise on ribbons of our resistance and love will tie this time of chaos with times of right thinking.
Do not fear the vibration of the cosmos within your body. It will heal you.
